Adult film actress, Tia Billinger, popularly known as Bonnie Blue, is set to be deported from Indonesia after being convicted of violating the country’s strict anti-pornography laws, authorities confirmed on Friday.

The 26-year-old adult content creator and social media star was found guilty only of a minor traffic offence but will be removed from the country for allegedly working on a tourist visa, an immigration offence under Indonesian law, according to the BBC.

Billinger was among 34 people detained when police raided a production studio in Bali, sparking a high-profile investigation into suspected pornographic activity.

Bali, a predominantly Hindu island that attracts millions of tourists annually, is part of Muslim-majority Indonesia, where pornography production is strictly prohibited.

Offenders can face up to 12 years in prison and fines of about $360,000 (£270,000).

Billinger was reportedly fined Rp 200,000 (approximately $12/£9) and will leave Indonesia on a flight scheduled just after midnight local time.

Immigration officials said they would release a statement on whether their request to blacklist her from re-entering the country had been approved.

Earlier this week, Badung Police disclosed that 16 foreign and 14 Indonesian witnesses claimed they had gathered at a studio in Pererenan, Mengwi, to participate in an “entertainment-themed reality show.”

According to their statements, “no indecent material was produced,” according to BBC.

Police identified Billinger as one of four individuals who held “dominant roles” in the production.

Investigators also reviewed the purchase of a pickup truck branded with “Bonnie Blue” and “Bang Bus,” and questioned the four over their awareness of Indonesia’s pornography ban.

Police said the individuals confirmed they knew such production was illegal.

Authorities further analysed videos shot at a hotel in the Berawa area but “found no elements of pornography or any unlawful distribution.”

Despite clearing them of pornography-related offences, police said the four foreign nationals are suspected of “misusing their stay permits” to work on commercial content.

Badung police chief M. Arif Batubara was quoted as saying that investigators were ensuring “all processes are carried out based on legal facts” and were coordinating with prosecutors and immigration authorities to “determine the next legal steps.”

Billinger, originally from Nottingham, is known for filming controversial videos, including touring universities in a bus to recruit “barely legal” teenagers, content similar to what drew scrutiny in Bali.

She had been travelling around the island during ‘schoolies week,’ an Australian tradition in which recent high school graduates go on holiday after exams.

In 2024, Billinger had planned to produce ‘schoolies’-themed porn in Australia, but her tourist visa was cancelled.

The documentary 1,000 Men & Me: The Bonnie Blue Story propelled Billinger into widespread public attention.

Known for her highly controversial sexual stunts, most notably having sex with more than 1,000 men in 12 hours, Bonnie Blue continues to intrigue many precisely because she remains difficult to fully understand.
