Naija News House reports that Many Injures As Igbo Community, Akwa Ibom Workers Clashes

Mechanic Village in Akwa Ibom state is currently having a serious physical combat between the indigens and the Igbo community workers.

The fight which has left many injured began at the early hours of Friday. Currently, no life is lost as the men of the Nigeria Police Force are fully on ground to maintain peace.

The actual cause of the clash is yet to be identified; but according to source who spoke with Naija News House said, a member of the Igbo community hit an Akwa Ibomite almost to death which led to a counter attack by indigenes of Offot clan.

Mechanic village is Uyo main town, close to federal and state Secretariat.

At the time of this report, the fight seems to have overpowered the men of the Nigeria Police. Information from one of the officers who pleaded anonymous assured of a joint task force backup from the men of the Nigerian Army.
