    Angry Mob Beats Man To Death For Kill!ng His Brother

    A major tragedy unfolded on Friday in Auchi, Edo State, on as a mob reportedly beat a young man to death after he allegedly shot and killed his brother.

    The incident, which took place on Solo Street in the Iyekhei area of Auchi, Etsako West local government area, has sent shockwaves through the community, occurring just a day before the Edo State governorship election.

    According to eyewitnesses, the victim, identified as Mr. Rashid Osigwei, a lecturer at the Federal Polytechnic Auchi, was shot by his younger brother following a family dispute.

    The tragic murder reportedly sparked outrage among residents, who apprehended the younger brother and fatally attacked him.

    At the time of filing this report, attempts to obtain a response from the police were unsuccessful.

    The gruesome event has left the community in fear, as authorities work to piece together the circumstances surrounding the killings.
