Angry Woman Kills Husband
The Niger State Police Command has announced the arrest of 27-year-old Fatima Dzuma for allegedly killing her husband, Baba Aliyu, 25, in Katcha Local Government Area of the state.
Police Public Relations Officer, SP Wasiu Abiodun, disclosed this in Minna on Monday.
Investigation revealed that the couple had an altercation on the fateful day.
Abiodun said that the wife used a pestle to strike her husband on the head during the altercation, resulting in his death.
He also disclosed that Aminu Amale, 45, was arrested for allegedly demanding N9.5 million from a farmer in Mariga Local Government Area.
He added that three suspected armed robbers, Jibrin Ndako, 19, Haruna Abubakar, 20, and Aliyu Abdullahi, 18, were arrested in Minna for planning to burgle a provision store. Three cutlasses and an industrial iron cutter were found with them.
He also stated that Abubakar Sadiq was arrested for allegedly killing a motorcyclist, Abdulrahman Isah, 20, and stealing his motorcycle.
The suspects were arrested between December 24, 2024, and January 4.
