BREAKING: Popular Nigerian Actress Is Dead
Allwell Ademola, a popular Nigerian actress in the Yoruba film industry, has passed away.
The sad news was confirmed on Saturday by her colleague, Mide Martins, in a tribute shared on Facebook. Describing the day as a painful one, Martins expressed shock and sorrow over Ademola’s death.
“Black Saturday. This is not fair. May God forgive your shortcomings, Allwell,” she wrote.
In another post, Martins remembered the late actress as a joyful and lively person, saying her death was deeply heartbreaking.
“Kabiesi Eledumare. Our ever playful, joyful, cheerful, lively Allwell is gone. God, this is too heartbreaking,” she added.
According to reports, Allwell Ademola died after suffering a heart attack at her residence. She was said to have been rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after.
Following the announcement, several colleagues in the Yoruba film industry took to social media to mourn her and pay tribute. Actress Bidemi Kosoko expressed disbelief over the loss in an emotional Instagram post.
“No way. It isn’t possible. This isn’t true. God forbid in Jesus’ name. I refuse to accept this one, God forbid. Just reply to my message, please my aunty. I will wait patiently for your reply,” she wrote.
Another actress, Fathia Williams, also described the news as deeply painful, writing: “This hit me so bad. Eniobanke. Allahu Akbar. Allwell.”
Beyond acting, Allwell Ademola was also known as a writer and director. She began her acting career at a young age but gained wider recognition as a professional actress in 2008. Over the years, she featured in several notable films, including Ile Wa, Third Eye, Murder At The Bar, and Mimi’s Voice.
Her death has left colleagues, fans, and the Yoruba film industry mourning the loss of a talented and vibrant figure.
