BREAKING: Many Feared Killed, Abducted As Gunmen Attack Commercial Bus
Gusau Gunmen suspected to be ravaging bandits have reportedly killed one passenger and abducted scores along Gada Manya village in Zamfara State on Friday evening. The Guardian gathered that the bandits also blocked Mayanchi Junction–Anka Road, stating that the operation was carried out at Manya community.
One Hussaini Ahmad explained that he was in the vehicle but managed to escape, noting that the person who was killed by the bandits refused to be abducted. According to him, the terrorists came with sophisticated weapons, saying that no security operatives challenged the bandits until they finished their operation. Recall that along Mayanchi Junction to Anka town, there was not a single security operative, apart from the Yansakai boys, who are volunteers working to safeguard the lives and property of the people along the axis.
All efforts to get a comment on the incident from the State Police spokesman, DSP Yazid Abubakar, proved abortive as his numbers were unreachable.
