Odion Ighalo says I Want To Sell My Mother, I’m Tired
Super Eagles forward, Odion Jude Ighalo says he might put up his mother for sale after remembering their last encounter before he left for Saudi Arabia.
Ighalo plays for the Saudi club, Al Shabab. As he was about to leave Nigeria, his mother saw him off and the emotional and joyous moment was recorded on the phone.
The mom could be seen echoing Al Shabab repeatedly as she walked towards her son. Ighalo, a former Manchester United player jokingly asked her to travel with him o Saudi.
The mom declined, saying, “Ah, I no go follow o, before they see me and they will not greet you again.”
This threw Ighalo and the rest of the family into a burst of uncontrollable laughter. The mother continued the memorable and beautiful moment by hailing Ighalo as a fine boy.
“Fine boy, na my fine boy be this o. Upon all the gidipa (football), if he puts on something now, you go feel am. please take care of him o,” the mom told Ighalo’s friend who did the recording.
Ighalo on Sunday re-posted the video saying that he is missing her mother, he then sarcastically added that he wants to sell her, perhaps, because she’s too fond to be with
