    A’Ibom LG Polls: IGBO Community
Seeks Ekpeyong’s Emergence As Council Chairman

Following the forthcoming Akwa Ibom local government elections, the Igbo community has pledged their unwavering support to Survy Iniobong Ekpenyong, Chairman of Uruan Local Government Area, in his re-election bid.

This declaration was made during a visit by Igbo community leaders, a non-indigenous group, to the Chairman, where they expressed their unshakeable confidence in his leadership and vision.

Through their Chapter Chairman, EZE Alex Obi, the Igbo community leaders articulated their commitment to mobilizing all non-indigenes from Uruan extraction to vote for all PDP candidates in the forthcoming election.

This significant endorsement is a testament to the Chairman’s inclusive leadership, dedication to the well-being of all residents, and his ability to foster harmony among diverse communities. By pledging their support, the Igbo community has demonstrated their appreciation for the Chairman’s tireless efforts to promote unity, progress, and development in Uruan Local Government Area.

The Igbo community’s pledge of support is a crucial milestone in the Chairman’s re-election campaign, marking a significant turning point in his bid for re-election.

It demonstrates the trust and confidence that the non-indigenous community has in his leadership, vision, and ability to deliver on his promises. With this endorsement, the Chairman is poised to continue his excellent work, driven by the support of the diverse communities he serves. His commitment to inclusivity, transparency, and accountability has earned him the respect and admiration of the Igbo community, and his re-election is crucial for the continued progress and development of Uruan Local Government Area.

With this endorsement, the Chairman’s re-election campaign has received a significant boost, and his victory is now more certain than ever. We are grateful for the Igbo community’s commitment to the PDP and look forward to a successful election that will usher in another term of progress, unity, and development under the leadership of Survy Iniobong Ekpenyong.

Naija News House had earlier reported that, the elections has scheduled to hold on 5 October.

NNH gathered that, Surv. Ekpenyong was elected as uruan local government Boss in 2020, after his successful three years tenure, he was appointed as Transition Committee Chairman.

NNH understand that, Surv. Ekpenyong was the first council chairman that was elected through oral and attitude test in the history of Nigeria.

In 2019, Ekpenyong won the overall best Surveyor in Nigeria.
