VIDEO: NAF Invade Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company, Assault Staff
Armed military personnel stormed the headquarters of Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company in Lagos on Thursday morning, attacking staff and other individuals present.
A video seen by SaharaReporters captures the moment the armed men, dressed in military uniforms, invaded the company’s premises opposite MITV in Ikeja, Lagos.
They reportedly stormed the facility at about 7:40 am.
Witnesses reported that employees and others in the office were being beaten by the military personnel.
The reason for the attack remains unknown as of the time of filing this report.
The situation has caused panic in the area, with bystanders expressing shock over the invasion. Authorities have yet to make an official statement on the incident.
