……SAY ZONING HAS UNITED THEIR LGA FOR DECADES
The Ezi-East aspirants have disclosed that their bloc, Ezi-East had before now ceded all the elective positions to the other bloc, Ezi -Centre/Ezi-West to ensure a flow of heathy zoning arrangements. PLEASE NOTE THAT EZI-EAST BLOCK and EZI- WEST/CENTR BLOCK HAS 6 INEC WARDS IN EACH BLOCK .Disclosing that the current member, Ezinihitte Mbaise House of Assembly,Hon. Henry Agbasonu is from Ezi-Centre/Ezi-West bloc; the current Ezinihitte Mbaise LGA APC chairman; Hon. Mark Adindu is from ITU Ezi-Centre/ Ezi West bloc; the SOLAD is from ITU EZI- centre/aezi-west block, the Apex leader is from ITU EZI- centre/Ezi-west block, the current APC Owerri zonal chairman,Chief Justus Ogu is from Ezi-Centre/ Ezi-West bloc and the current member of the Federal House of Representatives is also from Ezi-Centre/Ezi-West bloc leaving Ezi-east block of 6 IN EC wards with nothing.
In their release,the six APC chairmanship aspirants namely Hon. Bob Anyanwu; Dr Chukwuma Ojukwu;Engr.Chikezie Eke; Dr.Kingsley Nwachukwu; Dr.Bede Nzenwa and Engr.Michael Amaefule who are all from Ezi-East bloc of the LGA drew the attention of the party executives and the leader, the governor of Imo state, Senator Hope Uzodimma requesting them to use their good offices to see that the conventional zoning formula are judiciously applied in Ezinihitte Mbaise for their peace and unity which naturally paves way for socio-economic developments in line with fairness and equity.
It is the resolve of Ezi-East bloc chairmanship aspirants to support the consensus primaries as they affirm that who so ever is endorsed by the party authorities among them would have the 100% support of the other chairmanship aspirants.
They have referred to the publications made in Statesman of Wednesday, August 28, 2024 and Trumpeta of Friday,30,2024 where the Ezi-East Leaders political Forum stated their reaffirmention of the zoning of the political offices in Ezinihitte Mbaise LGA which is widely seen as a spur to rural developments through APC local government.
