Rep Jimbo Congratulates Akpabio, Ebong On Their Appointments
Rep. Clement Jimbo, MHR, MNIQS, The Honourable Member representing Abak/Etim Ekpo/Ika Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, has congratulated Miss Usoro Offiong Akpabio over her appointment as Managing Director, South South Development Commission as well as one of his constituents, Hon. Sir. Nkereuwem Ebong, on his appointment as the representative of Akwa Ibom State in South South Development Commission by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
Rep. Jimbo who spoke with Journalists on Friday, describing the appointments as “a testament to their competence and unwavering commitment to public service.”
I’m happy with these two appointments, I strongly believe that, they will do extremely well, Jimbo said.
While congratulating the Appointees, he also appreciated the President of the Senate, Senator (Dr.) Godswill Akpabio, GCON, for facilitating the appointments for his former Aides and Constituent.
Until their appointments, Ms. Usoro was an Aide to the President of the Senate while Sir. Ebong, a Former Transition Chairman of Abak Local Government Area and Board Member was also a Senior Aide to the President of the Senate, Distinguished Senator Godswill Akpabio, GCON.
