Nigerian Lawmaker Donates Waste Bins As Constituency Project To Mark One Year In Office

A member of the Abia State House of Assembly representing Aba Central constituency, Stephen Ucheonye on Thursday commissioned refuse disposal bins to mark his first year in office.

According to the lawmaker, the waste bins would be stationed in strategic locations in the constituency.

He described the distribution of the refuse disposal bins as his constituency project.

One of those who attended the event at Azuka road in Ogbor Hill said, “With plenty of fanfare to go with it today, the Labour Party lawmaker, Stephen Ucheonye commission refuse disposal bin as constituency project for the people of Aba Central State Constituency”

This is coming a few weeks after another LP lawmaker in the state, Ginger Onwusibe, distributed cassava stems, yam and other seedlings to his constituents.

Onwusibe currently represents Isialangwa North and South constituency at the National Assembly.
