Many Causalities Over New York Mass Shooting
A shooting incident occurred outside a nightclub in Queens, New York City, on Wednesday night, leaving at least 11 people injured, according to the New York City Police Department.
The incident happened near the Amazura nightclub in the Jamaica neighborhood, shortly before 11:20 pm, New York Post reports. Video footage shared on social media platform X shows a significant emergency response, with multiple police vehicles and ambulances on the scene.
Following the shooting outside a Queens nightclub, the injured victims were rushed to nearby medical facilities, including Long Island Jewish Hospital and Cohen’s Children Medical Center.
Fortunately, none of the victims are in critical condition, and all are expected to make a full recovery, according to the New York City Police Department.
This incident comes on the heels of a devastating attack in New Orleans, which resulted in the loss of 15 lives, and has raised concerns about public safety in major cities across the United States.
