Mob Beats Man To Death After Killing Son, Nursing Mother

In a shocking incident that has shaken the Evwreni community of Delta State, a man identified as Samson, committed a horrific act that claimed the lives of his son and a nursing mother.

The tragic event unfolded in the early hours of yesterday, leading to the tragic end of three lives, including Samson himself, as a mob took justice into their own hands.

According to sources, the incident occurred around 2 a.m. when Samson, for reasons yet to be fully understood, smashed his young son to death.

The community, still reeling from the horror, witnessed yet another tragic moment as Samson attacked and killed a nursing mother named Princess, injuring another unidentified man in the process.

Eyewitnesses reported that Samson had been displaying strange behavior leading up to the incident. It was said that plans were underway to take him to a medical facility for treatment, but the tragedy struck before any intervention could be made.

In a rage, a mob gathered, apprehended Samson, and in a swift act of jungle justice, beat him to death before setting his body ablaze. The exact cause of his actions remains unclear, but the devastating loss has left the community in mourning and shock.

According to him, “He smashed his toddler son, then machete a woman who took her son out to toilet to death, and injured the youths in process of trying to apprehend him, he injured more persons.

“After the incident, he was finally apprehended, beaten to a stupor and his remains were set ablaze with his motorcycle.”

Though the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, Edafe Bright could not respond to his call at press time, but a senior security source, who confirmed the incident, said: “Before our men could get to the scene, the suspect has been set ablaze.”
