    Nigeria Felicitates Iran on Anniversary of Islamic Revolution

    The Federal Government of Nigeria has extended warm congratulations to the Government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
    In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nigeria described the anniversary as a historic milestone in Iran’s modern history, symbolising the nation’s steadfast commitment to sovereignty, resilience, and national development. The Government noted the profound significance of the occasion to the Iranian people and acknowledged their continued pursuit of progress, stability, and prosperity.
    Nigeria and Iran have maintained cordial diplomatic relations for more than five decades, built on mutual respect, shared interests, and constructive engagement. Over the years, both countries have sustained collaboration at bilateral and multilateral levels across political, economic, cultural, and technical sectors.
    The Federal Government reaffirmed its commitment to further strengthening bilateral ties with Iran through sustained diplomatic dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation.
    Nigeria also conveyed its best wishes to the Government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran for continued peace, stability, and prosperity.
    The statement was signed by Kimiebi Imomotimi Ebienfa, ANIPR, Spokesperson, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja.
