Information reaching Naija News House says that Those Who Set Obasanjo’s Farm On Fire Finally Arrested

Not less than three people have been arrested in connection with the arson of Olusegun Obasanjo’s farmland, which totaled 2,420 hectares. On Saturday, hoodlums set fire to Obasanjo’s mango farmland in the Howe community of Gwer East Local Government Area of Benue State.

Governor Samuel Ortom gave the update during a Thanksgiving service held at Chapel of Grace, Benue Peoples House Makurdi on Thursday to commemorate the state’s 46th anniversary, saying four suspects had been arrested and three were still being pursued by security agents.

According to Ortom, the Benue State government will visit the farm to assess the extent of the fire’s damage and determine what can be done in the meantime. He expressed his delight that the former president is not considering relocating the farm, despite the significant financial loss he has suffered.

Looking back on the state’s history since its inception in 1976, the governor declared that only God is worthy of praise and thanksgiving for keeping Benue alive.

The governor stated that Benue has faced numerous challenges, some of which were intended to encourage the state, and that many leaders have come and gone, but that the people are grateful because God remains in charge.

As he reflected on his experiences over the last six years, the governor expressed confidence that the end of his term would be better than the beginning.

He stated that providing asphalt roads in Makurdi and other major towns throughout the state is part of his efforts to finish strong.

While charging the people of Benue to obey God and uphold justice, equity, and fairness, the governor expressed his desire for God to anoint a successor who will outperform him.
