Obong Chris Asuquo has congratulated Mr. Donald Willie Etim on his appointment as Executive Director, Nigerian security printing and minting PLC.
Obong Asuquo is a retired staff with Nigerian security printing and minting PLC. until his retirement, he was the head of protocol.
In Congratulatory message made available to newsmen on Saturday, he said I, Obong Chris Asuquo, an ex-Mint staff write to congratulate my senior brother, Mr. Don Etim on his new appointment as an Executive Director in the Nigerian Security Printing and Minting Plc.
Your sterling performance while in the Mint as a Management staff before your resignation to join politics was outstanding.
It is my hope that as a technocrat and an astute administrator, you will bring your wealth of experience to bear in the operations of the Company to ensure higher productivity and profitability.
Your going to the Mint is divine and a blessing.
I wish you Sir, God’s guidance to succeed on this onerous task which your new position places on you.

Ibom Focus had earlier reported how Tinubu sacked Managing Director of the Nigerian Security Printing and Minting Plc, Ahmed Halilu, Mallam Ado Danjuma, Executive Director, Corporate Services, Mr. Tunji Kazeem, executive director, security documents and Mrs.Victoria Irabor, company secretary, and appointed Mr. Abubakar Sule Minjibir, executive director, operations as acting MD.
However, President Tinubu announced appointment of Mr. Donald Willie Etim on Friday as Executive Director of production.
Naija News House gathered that Don Etim was Akwa Ibom State commissioner from 2007 to 2015, when Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio was executive governor of the state.
Etim has worked with Nigerian security printing and minting PLC as Assistant general Manager from 1999- 2004. Untill his appointment, Etim is Chief executive officer, Papi printing company Ltd.
