EXPOSED: ‘Stroke’ Prophet Miracle Charges N300,000 Consultation Fee Per Family But Avoids Meetings For Months
A fresh scandal has emerged involving Prophet Umueke Miracle, the embattled leader of the Dynamic Flame of Fire and Miracle Ministries, who was recently arrested for detaining his wife, Success, for five days in a house in the GRA area of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
A source has now accused the self-proclaimed man of God of exploiting his church members by demanding exorbitant consultation fees but failing to meet them for months.
According to the source, Prophet Miracle has a well-established pattern of scamming his followers, particularly those seeking spiritual consultations.
The prophetโs personal assistant (PA) allegedly serves as a middleman, collecting huge sums of money from desperate churchgoers under the guise of booking a session with the pastor.
โThe pastor has a habit of scamming people, particularly his followers,โ the source told SaharaReporters.
โHe has a PA stationed at his church who always charges people consultation fees anytime they want to see him. If you want to see him as a single person, you must pay N200,000. If you want to see him as a family, you must pay N300,000.โ
The source, who personally witnessed this fraudulent scheme, disclosed that his relatives fell victim to Prophet Miracleโs tactics.
โI know all these because my relations are victims. They went to the church and were asked to pay N300,000 by the pastorโs PA. They paid this money since last year, and up till now, they have not seen the pastor. They have not been able to consult him after paying the consultation fees. This is what is happening to many people,โ the source said.
The source added that those who try to reclaim their money often face resistance, as the PA flatly refuses to provide refunds and offers no clear timeline for when the pastor will be available.
โAnd the PA will not refund anytime they go back to them to get their money back. They will insist there is no refund, without any definite answer as to when the pastor will be available to see them,โ the source lamented.
This revelation adds to Prophet Miracleโs growing list of controversies, including his recent arrest over allegations of detaining his wife, Success, in his Port Harcourt home for five days.
Naija News Houseย earlier reported on Sunday that Success was released after police intervention and that Prophet Miracle was summoned for questioning over the illegal confinement.
Confirming the development, Rivers State Police Commissioner, CP Olugbenga Adepoju, told SaharaReporters, โI have told them to take him to the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID). The DC (Deputy Commissioner) will handle it there.โ
Prophet Miracle was taken into custody after honouring the police invitation. A team led by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Abacha police station had stormed his residence to free his wife, Success, who had been held against her will.
Success, who accused her husband of bigamy and infidelity, stated that Prophet Miracle had legally married her but had since taken another wife and was also living with a third woman.
โHe married me legally and then married another woman and also brought another girl. He can sleep with anything in a skirt,โ she said in an audio recording obtained by SaharaReporters.
She further accused him of using the police to intimidate her and restrict her movements, alleging that he planned to later forcibly evict her from their home.
