Rep Jimbo Commiserates With The Family Of DIG Ekpoudom
The Honourable Member representing Abak/Etim Ekpo/Ika Federal Constituency, Hon. Clement Jimbo on Friday, joined the family of DIG Udom Udo Ekpoudom (Rtd) in bidding farewell to the late Chief Emmanuel Udo Ekpoudom (JP) at his hometown, Uruk Ata Ikot Ebo Village, Etim Ekpo Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State.
During his sermon, Father Tombere, the Dean of Midim Deanery admonished the bereaved family and all sympathizers to always acknowledge God as their Creator in all their endeavors while alive, as everyone will ultimately account for their time on earth. He prayed for God to console the family and grant them the fortitude to bear the great loss.
While commiserating with the Ekpoudoms, Rep. Jimbo, urged Engr. Dati Ette Emmanuel Udo Ekpoudom, the heir apparent to the family, to take solace in God during this difficult time.
The burial ceremony, which took place on Friday, January 31st, was attended by several dignitaries, including: Rt. Hon. Obong Emem Ekperikpe Ekpo, Minister of Petroleum Resources (Gas), represented by Rt. Hon. Friday Iwok, Professor Florence Obi, Vice Chancellor, University of Calabar, Dr. Mary Alile Idele, National Women Leader, All Progressives Congress, Mrs. Olaniyan Gbemisola, Representative, Ministry of Education in Council, Dr. Emmanuel Abraham, Chairman, Board of Governing Council, Top Faith Schools, Justice Godwin Abraham, Former Chief Judge, Akwa Ibom State amongst other dignitaries across Nigeria.
