Roles Of Youths In Nation Building – Kumuyi
Roles of youths in nation building, it has been reported that the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, has said there is the need for the youth to play active roles in nation building.
The revered cleric called for support to enable them to overcome all challenges, including socio-economic, cultural and generational limitations.
A statement on Monday said the holiness preacher spoke while announcing a congress for undergraduates, graduates, postgraduates, professionals and housemen in all higher institutions, including corps members, academic and non-academic staff.
The three day virtual programme will feature presentations from professors, a former vice chancellor, a serving deputy vice chancellor, relationship and medical experts, scientists from the academic community all over Nigeria.
“In 1996, Pastor Kumuyi convened a national congress, tagged, ‘SOLUTION 96,’ at the end of which a major national industrial action that plagued the academic world came to a halt.
“This year, he is showing his deep concern for the youth and their future. He is convening the national campus congress to lend a voice of hope and divine support,” the statement added.
Participants are expected to join virtually or through any of the over 100 cluster locations of the Deeper Life Bible Church, where connecting devices will be available.
