Netanyahu Vows More Strikes On Iran, Says ‘War Has Beginning But You Don’t Know Its End’
Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli Prime Minister, has said that Israel’s ongoing war with Iran is not just a regional confrontation, but a global turning point, declaring that his country is “changing the face of the world” with its military operations against Tehran.
Speaking to Israeli public broadcaster, Kan, on Thursday, Netanyahu doubled down on Israel’s commitment to crush Iran’s nuclear and missile capabilities, seven days into what has become the most intense military escalation between the two arch-enemies in modern history.
“I said that we’re changing the face of the Middle East, and now I say we’re changing the face of the world,” he said.
Netanyahu, whose hardline rhetoric has shaped Israel’s aggressive military posture, claimed that Israeli forces are ahead of schedule in targeting Iranian facilities. However, he declined to provide a timeline for when the war would end.
“We are at war. I’m not going to reveal our timeline. I’m not going to tell them (the Iranians) what we’re preparing,” he said.
“When you enter a war, you know when it begins, but not when it ends,” he added.
Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu had also described Iranians as ‘murderers’ who want to destroy each and every one of Israelis, following a missile strike on Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva and civilian areas in central Israel.
Speaking during a visit to the hospital on Thursday with Health Minister and Deputy Minister Almog Cohen, Netanyahu warned of the scale of the threat posed by Iran.
“Every single one of us. Down to the last one of us. I think that says it all,” he declared.
The attack, which occurred in the early hours of Thursday, has been blamed on Iran’s terror proxies.
It was had earlier reported that Netanyahu responded firmly, saying, “We will exact the full price from the tyrants in Tehran.”
Full details of casualties and damage are still pending.
While touring the hospital, Netanyahu expressed outrage over the nature of the attack and made a clear comparison between Israeli military conduct and the tactics of its enemies.
“I am here at Soroka Hospital in Beersheba together with the Minister of Health and Deputy Minister Almog Cohen, a man from the south, and not for the first time with the director of Soroka Hospital. We see all the difference here.
“We accurately hit nuclear targets and missile targets, and they hit a hospital, where people can’t even get up and run away.
“They are harming not far from here there is a children’s and infants’ ward here. That’s the whole difference in a democracy that acts according to the law to save itself from these murderers and against these murderers who want to destroy each and every one of us. Every single one of us. Down to the last one of us. I think that says it all.”
