FULL LIST: Tinubu Shortlists Names Of Nigerian Content Creators To Project New Tax Reform Laws

The Bola Tinubu-led Presidency’s Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms Committee has announced the selection of what it described as Top 20 Nigerian content creators selected from a pool of 8,591 public nominations to participate in a specialised training programme on the country’s new tax reform laws.

In a statement released at the weekend, the committee said the nominations, covering more than 200 creators across various digital platforms, reflected the growing public appetite for simplified, accessible information on Nigeria’s ongoing fiscal and tax reforms.

According to the committee, the Top 20 creators were ranked by the combined size of their followership across major platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X (formerly Twitter), following weeks of public submissions.

The release said the top 20 Creators are: Financial Jennifer, Onlinebanker, Don Aza, Mary Efombruh, Baba Ogbon Awon Agba International, Perpetual Badejo, Personalfinancegirl, Tomi Akinwale, Emeka Ayogu, and Aderonke Avava.

Others are Odunola Ewetola, Christiana Balogun, Mosbrief, Chidozie Chikwe, Zainulabideen Abdulazeez, Chinemerem Oguegbe, Oyagha Michael, Ayomide Ogunlade, Ayọ̀dèjì Fálétò, and Vera Korie.

The committee said the selected creators will participate in a specially designed training session aimed at improving their understanding of Nigeria’s new tax laws and enabling them to “deliver clearer, more balanced, and insightful information” to their audiences.

“A big thank you to everyone who nominated a creator who has helped you understand Nigeria’s new tax reform laws or someone you believe should be part of the conversation,” the statement read.

Organisers also encouraged members of the public to notify any of the listed creators by tagging or mentioning them online.

Each nominee is required to confirm their interest by completing a form ahead of the training.

The committee said that the deadline for acceptance is Monday, December 8, 2025.

The committee further invited Nigerians to indicate the areas of tax reform they want the training to cover, urging the public to share key topics and concerns in the comment section of its announcement.

The committee said the initiative is part of ongoing efforts by the Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms Committee to expand public engagement, improve tax literacy, and strengthen the quality of civic education around Nigeria’s evolving fiscal framework
