NASS Is Fully Aligned With Tinubu’s Agenda, Says Akpabio

Senate President Godswill Akpabio has said that the 10th National Assembly which he serves as its chairman, is in full alignment with the agenda of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

Akpabio said this while speaking at the ongoing 2024 Annual General Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in Lagos State.

Amid nationwide protests against hunger, hardship, bad governance, insecurity, soaring inflation, the Senate President said that the 10th National Assembly is collaborating closely with President Tinubu-led executive arm of the government to enact laws that will create jobs, improve living standard for Nigerians and bring about total security in the nation.

He said, “The current administration’s Hope Revival agenda serves as a blueprint to renew the hopes and confidence of Nigerians in their government and in their future.

“This agenda centres on three key pillars: Economic Revitalisation, Social Cohesion and National Security.

“The 10th National Assembly is fully aligned with this agenda and we are collaborating closely with the executive arm to enact those laws that will create jobs, improve living standard for our citizens and bring about total security in the nation.”

“We are focused on strengthening the security infrastructure to ensure that all Nigerians can live in peace and safety,” he added.
