The National Assembly, through its Directorate of Research and Information, has announced the official commissioning of its newly completed Ultra-Modern Newsroom.
According to an invitation signed by Dr. Ali B. Umoru, Secretary of the Research and Information Directorate, the commissioning ceremony is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 12:00 noon prompt.
The facility will be formally commissioned by the Clerk to the National Assembly at Room 1.310, Annex I, Third Floor, National Assembly Complex.
The new newsroom represents a significant milestone in the advancement of the National Assembly’s institutional communication infrastructure. It is expected to enhance information dissemination, media engagement, and overall communication efficiency within the legislative arm of government.
Dr. Umoru noted that the presence of invited guests at the ceremony would be highly appreciated, as the event marks a major step forward in strengthening the Assembly’s media and public information operations.
