2023: Why PDP Is Set To Dump Atiku For Either Of These 2 Northern Governors- Deji Adejanyu
According to a Human Rights Activist, Deji Adeyanju, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) may present either the Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, or Bauchi State governor, Bala Mohammed, as the party’s presidential candidate ahead of the general election.
Adeyanju disclosed this clue via a series of tweets on Wednesday. He reiterated that the PDP stakeholders are tired of fielding former President Atiku Abubakar.

He added that the party is sad over Atiku’s actions after losing the presidential election. It was alleged that Atiku fled the party and left for Dubai, UAE for two years.
He also disclosed that the seat of the Vice President will be zoned to the South.
Quoting part of his words, he said, “The only way PDP can get a real sense is if they spend 16 years in opposition. APC should present an acceptable candidate in 2023.”

It is vital to note that both are still serving governors. Both Aminu Tambuwal and Bala Mohammed were elected as the governor of their respective states in 2019, and are fit to contest for the presidential office.
