1. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu
The Lagos Strongman has been long expected to run for the Country’s top job. Tinubu, a core progressive, facilitated the merger of the defunct ACN, CPC, ANPP and a faction of APGA led by Rochas Okorocha.
He represented Lagos West Senatorial District at the National Assembly between 1992 and 1993, After the return to Democracy in 1999, Tinubu was elected as Governor of Lagos State, a position he occupied until 2007.
2. Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi
Amaechi, 55 is another strong political gladiator who belongs to the N-PDP Bloc of the ruling APC.
The Ikwerre-born Politician has held several positions since the return to Civil Rule in 1999. Known for his doggedness, Amaechi was a Two-term Speaker and a Two-term Governor of Rivers State.
He is currently serving as the Minister of Transportation. He is a Close ally of Governor Nasir El-rufai of Kaduna State.

3. Owelle Rochas Okorocha
Okorocha, a Prominent Businessman has a successful mark in Business before casting his net into the political world, He contested for presidency in 2003 and 2007 but did not win.

Okorocha was elected as Governor of Imo State in 2011 under the APGA platform. The 58years-old won a re-election in 2015 on the APC platform. Okorocha currently represents Imo West Senatorial District in the Nigerian Senate.
