FG refund us 78bn, Wike Tells Rivers people as he confirms
The Executive Governor of Rivers State Nyesom Wike, has received the total amount of N78 billion that he spent to repairs and construct federal government roads
Governor Wike confirmed this when he led Peter Obi, the 2019 Vice-Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to inaugurate the Isiokpo Internal Roads Phase 2 in Ikwerre Local Government Area of the state on Wednesday
The Governor in his statement said the refunded money would be use in providing more critical projects across the state to enhance the socio-economic life of Rivers people.
Wike who is a very hard working and controversial Governor promise to make River State the most beautiful state, He stated that despite being in his second term, he would continue to work without rest for the interest of the state and improve its stakes.
The money is in the bank, I don’t want to touched a dime yet until I’m ready to use it for project execution.
I will work till the last day in office, and I will continue to work without tired for the interest of our State and people. I’m not resting. Said Governor.
Recall that, the refund of the money was supposed to be last year 2020 when federal government promised to do that, but all of the sudden, the Governor came out again to tell the public that federal government has not refund the money to the Rivers State.
The governor who was the campaign chairman of 2020 Edo state Governorship election, and the lion of South South South, promised to give Rivers State people best. He is the most fearless Governor in the country.
Governor Wike recently challenge Journalists not cover up the bad government, Rather to tell all the leaders their weakness, so that they can sit up and plan good for the people., He also tell the to tell him his own weak point not to praise him for what he has not done.
Rivers people sent me to come and work, so I must render the services to them in all ramifications, he said.
