It was the thing of joy when an old man came out and agreed to marry a beautiful lady that a young man abandoned, the old man didn’t want to know the stories of the young lady but rather agreed to said yes to her.
A pregnant Nigerian lady got married to an old man traditionally after the man who got her pregnant allegedly ran away.
According to @TheOliviaLife it is one of the practices she is fighting against in her community. She further revealed that the young lady will “give birth under his protection and the child will answer his name.”
She wrote: “The girl is pregnant and the person that impregnated her has absconded so her people arrange with an old man to come and marry her so that she can give birth under his protection and the child will answer his name. It’s practiced in my place and I try to fight against it.”
