Buhari Approves Another New Federal Polytechnic

Nigeria President, His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari on Monday, approved the construction of Federal Polytechnic, Shendam in Plateau State.

The development was confirmed in a Tweet by Bashir Ahmad, the President’s Personal Assistant on New Media. The President is said to have also approved the sum of N2 billion from the funding resources of TETFund for immediate commencement of the project.

The tweet reads: “President @MBuhari has approved the establishment of Federal Polytechnic, Shendam, Plateau State, with an approval of N2 billion from the funding resources of TETFund for the immediate take-off, the Ministry of Education confirmed in a letter to Gov Simon Lalong of Plateau State.”
