Investing In Cows Better Than Cryptocurrency, Garba
A Nigerian businessman, Adamu Garba, has said investing in cows is better any form of cryptocurrency business.
His comment comes after the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) barred banks and other financial institutions in the country from conducting any form of transaction with cryptocurrenccy on Friday.
The directive was issued in a circular from the apex bank and addressed to deposit money banks, non-bank financial institutions and other financial institutions.
The development elicited angry reactions from Nigerians on Twitter.
In a post, Garba, a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), described crypto as a “shortcut business”.
He said cow ranching is more lucrative than all cryptocurrencies in the world, arguing that it has huge returns on investment.
He wrote:
“Better Investments! Those who might have lost their monies through a shortcut business called Crypto should learn to invest on real assets, like cows, which assured of huge returns on investment. Cow Ranching business is more lucrative than all cryptocurrencies combined. Lol.”
