Police Finally Arrest Man Who Stole Vehicle He Was Paid To Wash
Men of the Delta State Police Command have arrested a young man who escaped with a vehicle he was paid to wash in Asaba.
The suspect, according to a tweet by Delta Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe on Sunday, led a police team to Benin, Edo State, where the vehicle was recovered.
He said : “The suspect on black works at a car wash in Asaba, he stole a benz GLK he was paid to wash with the intention of selling it. He was arrested, and he led the police to Benin where the vehicle was recovered.”
According Edafe – a Deputy Superintendent of Police , a syndicate of four suspects who steals vehicle, disassemble the vehicles and sell them in parts were also arrested in another operation in Delta .
” They were arrested in Ughelli. 16 vehicle engines, 8 gear boxes, 15 motor batteries, seven suspected stolen vehicles, and 74 vehicle tires were recovered from them,” he tweeted.
