Google Celebrates 25 Years
Tech giant, Google, on Wednesday, September 27, marked its 25 years since its launch.
It celebrated its silver jubilee with a special doodle thanking their users for their questions.
The doodle shows all the logos google has used since its launch with the current one replacing the double O with number 25.
In a statement on its blog post on Wednesday, the tech giant wrote: “We’re celebrating with a special Doodle and some surprises in Search — and thanking our users for the questions that have moved us forward.
“Twenty-five years ago we launched Google Search to help you find answers to questions big and small. Since then, billions of people have turned to our products to do just that — to satisfy their curiosity. To start a business. To start a journey. To cut a pineapple.”
Google CEO, Sundar Pichai, earlier in the month said: “Our search for answers will drive extraordinary technology progress over the next 25 years. We’re excited to build the future alongside you. From all of us at Google, thanks for an amazing 25 years. Here’s to many more years of curiosity.”
