Killer Mike, a rapper and activist who won three Grammys on Sunday, was detained by Los Angeles police shortly after the ceremony.
The Hollywood Reporter, a trade website, published a video of Mike getting detained and led away from Crypto.com Arena, where he had just won his Grammy Awards at the Premiere Ceremony.

He was later released on his own recognizance at 8:37 p.m. and will appear in court on February 29 in Los Angeles.

He celebrated his third win by shouting, “Sweep! Atlanta, it’s a sweep!” He is based in Atlanta.
Mike is also known as a member of Run the Jewels, a duo with producer El-P, and as a social-political activist who advocates for Black people’s rights, racial justice and Sen. Bernie Sanders’ 2016 presidential bid.
