Senator Bassey To Shut Down Akwa Ibom For Free Medical Surgical Outreach, Massive Empowerment
As part of his campaign promises to his constituents, Senator Aniekan Bassey representing Akwa Ibom North-East senatorial district in the 10th Senate is set to kick start free medical surgical outreach in the state.
Senator Bassey announced this while speaking with newsmen on Tuesday in Abuja. He said the free medical surgical outreach is not for selected people but for everybody in Uyo senatorial district.
According to Sen. Bassey, “my people sent me to represent them in Abuja, so anything i see that would be beneficial to them i have no option than to bring it to them that’s why I am doing this because the free medical outreach will help alot of them.
“In my time at the Senate, i want my people to experience the best representation anyone can offer them,” he said.
While fielding questions from journalists, senator Bassey, noted that health is number one thing in life, adding that its only someone who is healthy that can do anything he or she wishes, “so I am taking free medical surgical outreach to my people so that they can enjoy their lives in fullness.
Naija News House gathered that, the Free Medical Surgical outreach organise by National productivity center, Abuja in collaboration with preview Nigeria Limited will commence on Monday August 26th-28th, 2024, at Methodist general hospital Ituk Mbang, Uruan and moved over to General Hospital, Etinan on 29th-31st August 2024.
However, As part of his 800 million mega empowerment, the senator promised to distribute computer sets to selected secondary schools in Akwa Ibom North-East Senatorial District, 1,000,000 each agro grant to 100 farmers and back to school initiative
