ADVICE:
Reno To Malami:”If Northern States Can Ban Beer & Pig Farming, Southern States Can Ban Open Grazing”
Former Aide to Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Pastor Reno Omokri has come out to react to the statement of the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami about the ban placed on Open Grazing by herdsmen in all Southern states in Nigeria.
In a live interview on Channels Television on Wednesday, Abubakar Malami expressed his disappointment over the outcome of the meeting held at the Delta State Government House, Asaba where they came up with various recommendations, part of which was the Ban on Open Grazing in all Southern States, adding that it does not align with the provisions of the constitution.

According to the Malami, the southern Governors have no right to prohibit the liberty and freedom of movement of any Nigerian, adding that their declaration was as good as northern Governors coming out to ban spare parts trading in the North.
Furthermore, the Attorney General insisted that the ban on open grazing does not hold water, adding that the Governors must first approach the National Assembly to seek constitution amendments in that regard.
Omokri on Thursday via his twitter handle reacted to the comments made by Malami, likening it the ban on open grazing by the Southern States to the ban on pig farming and sales of beer by the Northern States.
He wrote;
“The comment by @MBuhari’s Attorney General, @MalamiSan, that banning open grazing is like banning spare parts trading, shows this regime is fully behind killer herdsmen.
If Northern states can ban beer and pig farming, Southern states can ban open grazing.
