…….. Worse LGA Chairmen in A’ibom
Executive Governor of Akwa ibom State, Deacon Udom Emmanuel On the 7th December, 2017, sworn in 31 outgoing local government council chairmen. Now another administration has begun 7/12/2020 for the local government councils with the swearing in of a new set of chairmen (with few returning chairmen), I want to state here categorically that it is a very shameful thing to Uyo Federal Constituency that we don’t have any out going Chairman that we can boost of his,/ her achievements compared to that achieved by a single Ikono LGA chairman. In Uyo Federal constituency, we have four good local governments which include: Uyo, Uruan, Nsit Atai and Ibesikpo, but there is nothing to write home about as regards the achievement of these four local government in relation to that achieved by only one Ikono LGA. you will agree with me that these people have nothing to show to the masses, and they have become completely a waste of space and resources. Does it mean Ikono LGA chairman is the only one that collected the highest allocation or does it mean he has 3 heads while others have 1?
It is very annoying that we are wasting our time with these four people.
CHALLENGE:
Now I challenge these four out going LGA chairmen to show us their scorecards; I will show them that they are doing nothing, I also challenge all the past chairmen in Uruan LGA apart from Rt. Hon. Tony Akan to present their scorecards before the general public.
WARNING:
I warn all these out going Chairmen that they should never in their Life seek for political Office anymore, and nobody should give them any political position. they are worse than Ebola and Covid-19 combined.
WORSE:
Uyo Federal Constituency outgoing chairmen only thought of themselves, not the masses!
FUTURE:
All Akwa ibom State political Office holders should get ready for their scorecards Report soon, ranging from National assembly members, State house members to commissioners and board Chairmen etc.
Also, the newly sworn-in LGA chairmen in Akwa Ibom state should get ready and well prepared to present their first 100 days in office scorecards in due time.
EXPECTATION:
The good people of Uruan LGA are very happy as hope has returned to them, because they have another Hon. Tony Akan as chairman in the person of Hon. Surv. Iniobong Ekpeyong, for he will perform well if only they will allow him to work, but if he fails, you will also hear from us, and if he does well, the whole world. will hear too.
LESSON:
I urge all the newly sworn-in 31 LGA chairmen to learn from the past chairmen, correct their mistakes and errors so that they have good record and recommendation to higher office
