Akpabio Promise 1 Strong And A United APC, it has been reported that Akpabio declared and assured that he will ensure that we have one united APC in Akwa Ibom State.
The Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio has assured that together with other leaders of All Progressives Party (APC) in Akwa Ibom State, they would ensure that the Party is formidable enough to wrestle power from the incumbent party.

Akpabio who spoke at the APC State Congress in Uyo, congratulated the State executive officers of the party, and cautioned the party faithful not to meddle in the disagreement of party elders, adding that the elders will settle their differences at a round table.
“ I want to congratulate all of you and I also caution that it takes two hands to clap. Again, if you check your Bible very well, you see that the only car mentioned in the Bible is the Accord. That is why the Bible says that the disciple of Christ all moved in one accord.
That is the only vehicle that is recognized in the Bible. Do not look at the disagreement of the elders because every single war; whether World war or civil war is normally settled on a round table and many of you will not be there when that war would be settled”, Akpabio said.
The Minister who said he came with the message of unity, assured that he would work with other leaders and stakeholders of APC in Akwa Ibom State to settle all internal squabbles and ensure the party emerged stronger to take power in 2023.
“I brought you a message of peace, and message of unity. Remember in those days, I told you if you don’t want development, I will force developments on you and I forced developments on you. Today, I am saying that I will work with other leaders, those mentioned here and those who are not here, I will ensure that there is unity in APC in Akwa Ibom State”, he assured.
Akpabio said, wresting power from the incumbent government demands a committed effort of all party faithful and called on members to move in one accord and resolve not to remain as opposition in 2023.

“We’re wrestling power from an incumbent government, don’t take it for granted. It is not a tea party and no single group can do it alone. We must do it together. But one thing we must resolve is that never again shall we remain as opposition in 2023. My message is a message of unity, the message of peace, and message of moving in one accord”.
Akpabio assured the people of the confidence of President Buhari in repositioning and growing APC in Akwa Ibom State, adding that at the end of the exercise, “APC in Akwa Ibom State will emerge stronger, and together will ensure that we have one united APC and we will march to Hilltop Mansion in 2023”.
The Special Assistant to President on NDDC, Senator Ita Enang said “There is no party without disagreement. Therefore, the disagreement in APC in Akwa Ibom State is toward agreement”.
Enang thanked APC members and delegates at the congress for the solidarity shown to all the leadership of the party, and extended the goodwill of President Buhari and the National Leaders of APC to members of the Party in the State.

A one time member of the House Representatives and Uyo Senatorial candidate in the 2019 election, Hon. Bassey Etim charged the new executives of the party to see their emergence as an opportunity to unite and advance the party, charging them to allow others to join the party so as to be able to take over power in the next elections.

The new Chairman of APC in Akwa Ibom State, Mr Stephen Leo Ntukekpo thanked the members and leadership of APC in Akwa Ibom State for counting him worthy to pilot the affairs of the party in the State.
Mr. Ntukekpo, who was the immediate past Youth Leader of APC in Akwa Ibom State called on all members of APC to come together and chart a new narrative for the party, adding that “APC is a big tent and can accommodate all of us”.
