BREAKING: Akwa Ibom State Government Announces Another Addition To IbomAir Fleet
Information has it that the Akwa Ibom State commissioner for information and strategy, comrade Ini Ememobong on Saturday 5th June, 2021 announced the latest addition to IbomAir Fleet.
It could be recalled that recently, Governor Udom Emmanuel had announced that plans had been concluded to add two brand new Airbus A220 300series to the fleet of IbomAir as part of the strategic expansion plan of the Airline.
Consequently, the commissioner
revealed that, the brand new Airbus A220 300series, being the latest addition to the fleet of IbomAir has touched down Murtala Muhammed international airport Lagos adding that, the date for the arrival of these airplanes in Uyo will be announced soon.
The aircraft being the newest in its category, is a traveller’s delight for many reasons like comfort, space and safety features.
The commissioner also stated that, the government’s plan to expand the aviation industry in the state is to provide rapid worldwide transportation network, which makes it essential for global business, create jobs and facilitates trade and tourism.
