ARMED FORCES REMEMBRANCE DAY: A’Ibom council Boss unfolds activities marking 2021 celebration
Uruan Local Government Council in Akwa ibom State has rolled out activities lined up for the celebration of year 2021 Armed Forces Remembrance Day.
According to a press release signed by Roseline Etukudo, the Information Officer on- behalf of the Executive Chairman, Uruan Local Government Area, Hon. Surv. Iniobong Ekpenyong , the national event is scheduled to start with an interdenominational Thanksgiving service on Sunday 10th January, 2021 at St Jerome Catholic church, Nung Ikono Ufok, Uruan Local Government Area by 10:00am
The release also stated that the grand finale is billed for Friday 15 January, 2021 at Uruan Local Government Council Secretariat Cenotaph, Idu by 10:00am.
Accordingly, the Executive Chairman, Uruan Local Government Area, Honourable Surveyor Iniobong Ekpenyong has invited his wife, Mrs Ndifreke Iniobong, the Speaker of Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly / member representing Uruan State Constituency, Rt Honourable Aniekan Bassey and wife, the Vice Chairman, Evangelist (Mrs) Uduak Udoenang and spouse, Leader of the 7th Uruan Legislative Council, Hon Sunday Bassey , Council Secretary of Uruan Local Government, Mr Inyang Atakpo, the Head of Local Government Service Dr. Mrs Eno Akpa and members of Uruan Legislative Council.
Others invited by the Council Boss are; the Paramount ruler of Uruan Local Government , His Royal Majesty, Edidem Atakpo Cosmas Nkanga, (PPD), Directors, the Divisional Police Officers and heads of other security agencies in Uruan local Government and all political appointees from Uruan Local Government Area.
Also invited are, the Chairman Nigeria Legion, Rtd Mayor Pius Ekpenyong and members Nigeria Legion, the President AKS NULGE, Comrade Anestina Iweh ,the branch Chairman of NULGE and members, CAN, the good people of Uruan and the general public to the 2021 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Celebration.
