If the people are not safe and can be killed even close to where soldiers are stationed, then what is their work in the community?”

She called on the government to intervene in the situation before the incidents get out of hand.
It was reported that gunmen had last week killed six miners in the neighbouring Turu Lamba community, which also sparked protests by youths in the community leading to the blocking of the Jos-Abuja highway.
The situation had caused a heavy gridlock, leaving commuters stranded and the movement of goods disrupted.
