Following the Direct Primary, information reaching Naija News House says that Wike has vowed to Sue President Buhari
Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State says he will sue President Muhammadu Buhari if the president signs into law, the Electoral Act Amendment Bill which seeks for direct primaries.
The popular governor said this while speaking at the opening ceremony of the 2021/2022 Legal Year in Port Harcourt.
He said the move to include direct party primary election in the Electoral Act is against the tenets of democracy.
Wike is PDP member, and he is a fearless and popular governor.
