There’s No Place The Bible Ever Said The Truth Sets Anyone Free – Fr. Oluoma
Fr. Oluoma questions the traditional wisdom that says the truth may set someone free on a recent Facebook post. He supported this claiim with historical facts, including Stephen, John the Baptist and the Apostles of Jesus.
While society generally maintains that telling the truth brings about emancipation, Fr. Oluoma contends that their outcomes point to a different story.
Açcording to him, Do you really believe that the truth sets anyone free? Look at John the Baptist he spoke the truth and was killed. His death wasn’t pretty at all.
Stephen died because he spoke the truth. All the Apostles of Jesus Christ died or suffered persecution for speaking the truth.
Where is the freedom? the truth doesn’t sets anyone ‘free’ the Bible never said it does anyway.
There’s no where the Bible ever said the truth sets anyone free. What the Bible says is: “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free”, so, the truth that set you free is not the truth you speak. It is the truth you know.
