A man identified as Imam Abubakar has been killed by unknown gunmen that attacked a Fulani settlement in Barakallahu community, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The unknown gunmen during the attack, disappeared with an undisclosed number of cows.
Alhaji Muhammad Abdullahi, the community District Head, clarified that the incident occurred around 12:15 am, in the early long periods of today.
He clarified, “Around midnight, we started hearing shots being fired, they (gunmen) must have shot 50 times before they finally left the community.”
The District Head additionally clarified that he was informed that they (gunmen) killed one man and removed numerous steers.
He said that he was yet to affirm the number as he was on his way to see the family.
