How Senate reacts to TB Joshua’s death, it has been reported that the Senate, on Tuesday, held a minute silence in honour of Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, founder of The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), who passed away one week before his 58th birthday.

This followed a motion by Senate Deputy Leader, Prof Ajayi Boroffice, (APC, Ondo), who drew the attention of his colleagues to the death of the pastor.
Prophet T.B Joshua, a prominent Nigerian televangelist, died hours after presiding over a programme at his Lagos-based megachurch on Saturday.
He was renowned for his philanthropy, prosperity teachings, and healings.
SCOAN plays host to dozens of both local and foreign guests, who visit the worship centre for prayers.
Similarly, the red chamber also held a minute silence to honour the killings of 88 people in Kebbi State last Thursday by bandits.
This was sequel to a motion by Senator Bala Ibn Na’Allah (APC, Kebbi).
The assailants, whom the state authorities said, came from neighbouring Niger and Zamfara states, ransacked eight villages.
