IGP Appoints First Female Force Secretary
The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has taken a significant step towards gender inclusivity and equality by appointing Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Yetunde Longe as its first female secretary.
This milestone was announced in a statement by the force’s Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, in Abuja.
According to the statement, the appointment of AIG Yetunde Longe by Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Kayode Egbetokun is part of the force’s commitment to promoting gender inclusivity and equality across all levels of appointments and operations.
