Information reaching Naija News House say that Woman Kills Husband Over ‘Side Chick’
In Akungba, Akoko southwest local government area of Ondo State, a distressing event unfolded as Omolora Oluwaemi, a housewife, allegedly struck her sleeping husband, Seidu Jamiu, with a pestle.
Reports indicate that an altercation erupted between the couple the night prior, centered around the husband’s extramarital affair.
Witnesses, including Chief Awesu, were shocked to find Jamiu unconscious in a pool of blood after Oluwakemi called for help.
The dispute seemingly stemmed from suspicions of infidelity involving a side chick.
Tragically, Jamiu succumbed to his injuries despite being rushed to the hospital. Oluwakemi has since been detained by the police and transferred to the police headquarters for further investigation.
According to Ondo Police spokesperson Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, it was Oluwaemi herself who reported the incident to the police, claiming that her husband was killed by unknown assailants.
However, no arrests have been made yet, and investigations are underway.
According to her , “I can’t confirm that the victim’s wife killed him because it was the woman that reported the matter at police station. We have not made any arrest now but investigation has commenced into the incident.”
