#June12Protest: Nigerians Storm Major Roads To Protest Hardship Created By Tinubu
Nigerians including youths in their large numbers on Wednesday stormed major roads in Lagos State to protest the current economic hardship created by the President Bola Tinubu’s government.
In several pictures and videos seen on X, SaharaReporters observed that the demonstrators carried different placards calling for immediate reversal of some policies implemented by Tinubu.
One of the protesters and a social activist, Francis Nwapa wrote: “We called for it and we are on the street in Ikeja under bridge. The tyrannical and oppressive government of @officialABAT must be shown the way out. We are hungry and angry.
It was reported that the protests were scheduled nationwide for the citizens to express their displeasure over the current state of nation.
The Department of State Services (DSS) had earlier warned Nigerians against the protests.
