Kidnapping Has Become Normal Business In Nigeria, Remain Legalisation, DEE Laments
Following the high rate of kidnapping School Children in Niger, Kastina among other states, Nigerian Blogger Dominic Edem aka DEE has shown great concern and worries as regards how kidnapping has increased in the recent times in Nigeria, which takes effect almost on daily bases, and barely no security measures have been put in place to curtail this evil trend.
DEE who spoke with Newsmen, says that Nigeria is not safe anymore for people to inhabit. In his word:
Look at what is going on now, within the span of two months this year, 2021, almost a thousand of students have been abducted, we are not even come up to the quarter of the year! what then do you expect in six months’ Time?
APC government has failed us completely; how do you now convince people that Kidnapping is not a lucrative business in Nigeria since the bandits and kidnapers are being paid a huge amount of ransom by the government of the day? From what I see, this government has lost its value to the people as they don’t value lives anymore.
I have never seen a failed government like this government: they’ve failed in everything; there’s nothing good to show in this government. It is a pity that we lack security to secure lives and property.
I call on the government of president Buhari to wake up and start working.
Now Niger Delta Militants are planning to come back again, this week they issued notice to Attack Abuja and Lagos; three days ago they burnt many Houses in Akwa ibom, and killed two people.
Where are we going in this country?
Buhari, Remember you said you would protect lives and property; are you doing it as you said?
