JUST IN: Nnamdi Kanu’s Lawyer Breaks Silent Over Nnamdi Kanu’s Arrest
According to reports the leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu was arrested by DSS on June 29 in Abuja. This is no more recent news to you though, he was taken to court the same day he was arrested. Some people who witnessed the incident were able to share what they saw with the media when Nnamdi Kanu was arrested. According to reports, it was gathered that he jumped bail.
The lawyer of Nnamdi Kanu known as Alloy Ejimakor who is also a member of IPOB was interviewed, then he reacted to Nnamdi Kanu’s arrest. He said he will be granted bail, like others. He said arresting Nnamdi Kanu was not the best thing to do. The federal government should have called Nnamdi Kanu and his people and have a talk with them instead of arresting him.

He said Nnamdi Kanu is a man who wants the freedom of his people, and there’s nothing bad about it, why would the federal government arrest him?. He also said Nnamdi will surely report in court, and he’ll be defended. He said the government should have thought of giving IPOB a referendum, then a vote would be carried on.
