How Ministerial Nominee Insulted Tinubu, Accused Him Of Feeding Nigerians ‘Rubbish Narrative’
President Bola Tinubu’s ministerial nominee, Dr. ‘Bosun Tijani has been reminded by Nigerian tweeps of his criticism of the former leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Tijani, one of the critics of Muhammadu Buhari’s regime, in July 2019 while responding to a Twitter influencer, with account TMZ @busanga J, criticised Tinubu over his statement “serving power a la carte”.
While tweeting about the nomination of ministers by then-President Buhari, @busanga J wrote, “The only people disappointed are non-party members. I am fully satisfied. You can’t reap where you did not sow.”
Tijani tweeted, “Reap where you do not sow? How pathetic can you sound? This is public service not your father’s business. We will never move forward with this narrative you lots are spreading. Africa needs real leaders with things to offer.”
Another Twitter user, Babájidé Dúrósholá with account @Babajide while replying to @bosuntijani @busanga and @aboyeji, wrote: “I thought he was talking about farming or harvest! Mehn we are in deep trouble here o.”
Tijani responded: “It is becoming the norm. Tinubu fed them that rubbish narrative with his “serving power a la carte” wisdom. Go invest your time and money into your business if you want to propagate such rubbish narrative.”
However, following his nomination by Tinubu as a minister on Wednesday, a Twitter user, Machala Bigshey, with the account @oluwavieraa reminded Tijani about his criticism of Tinubu, adding that he would also be fed the same nonsense that he accused him of feeding people.
He wrote: “How far @bosuntijani seems you’re ready to be fed nonsense by the same Tinubu now that u are nominated as his minister!
“Or has he stopped feeding us nonsense?
“Agbado in ur pocket I guess.
“Will wait till you give a perspective to this “serving power a la carte” nonsense! Ire!”

@oluwavieraa however, congratulated him for his nomination: “@bosuntijani congratulations on your nomination as a minster of the federal republic. “I have followed ur narratives and ranting for years and really glad on the other hand that ire now a minster nominee. “Why we want you to succeed, we look forward to see ur contributions. “Now that you’re in the midst of it…and you have the rare opportunity to create that “eldorado” that you have alwys opined about. “Hope you will be open to take criticism same way you were dishing it out harshly before now. “We look forward to ur success! “Ire o,” he reminded him.

A political scientist, Mohammed Evuti (@MohammedChado20) reminded Tijani that he shouldn’t be eating his vomits after criticising Tinubu in 2019.
He wrote: “Tinubu……Serving power a la carte” @bosuntijani you shouldn’t be eating your vomits, sir. It’s a bad culture.
“The elite of the elite” Mr President @officialABAT are these micro-elites greater and more powerful than the state? This is not impressive, sir.”
